ReProgram yourself from 'One Right Answer'
Today, I want to talk about something that has been on my mind lately:
The concept of "one right answer" in school.
You know, the idea that there is only a single correct response to a question.
What that teaches us is not to think for ourselves.
To conform ourselves to only ONE RIGHT WAY.
But here's the thing: life isn't always so black and white.
It limits our creativity and critical thinking skills.
The real world is filled with complexities and nuances.
Things that can't always be neatly distilled into a single solution.
Schools haven't changed much in the past 100 years.
And I don't expect it to change anytime soon
if we keep believing there is only ONE right answer.
However, we don't live in the same world as 100 years ago.
The physical world has changed dramatically.
Our routines are different.
Our relationships are different.
Our needs are different.
There is a bigger need for NEW ANSWERS than ever before.
We need new answers to create a sustainable world for future generations.
We need the mess that comes with creativity.
We need critical thinkers.
Explore multiple perspectives.
Consider various possibilities.
All of this is crucial in our ever-changing society.
Think of the old world as a small seed.
Think of the new world as a 100-year-old tree.
With roots, reaching deep into the earth.
There are infinite branches and leaves to explore.
But most of us are conditioned into the one we learned during childhood.
They limit their potential to one of the infinite branches through mental programming.
This oak tree is explored with the mind.
Each branch represents a pathway of curiosity,
that can be explored with energy, attention, and will.
The problem:
How we learn defines how we live.
It defines the way you eat.
How you wake up in the morning.
How you go through the day.
How and what kind of work you do.
How you build and maintain your relationships.
And how we live defines how we teach.
And how we teach defines the lives of future generations.
It's also called Morphic Fields.
The invisible fields that keep us where we are.
To hold us in place, in order, in the structure of society.
In the end, you are a product of your environment.
Your thoughts, emotions, and actions (in that order),
all influenced by what and how you learn.
Programmed into your mind with time.
In order to break away from the default path,
we need to teach ourselves a new way.
Break the cycle of unconscious living.
Even if all the opportunities cause overwhelm.
To find clarity, you have to find your deeper WHY.
Without judgment or a goal in mind.
You can't just shy away at the first sight of struggle.
Your version happens through failure.
How long it will take and which skills to learn?
There is no RIGHT ANSWER to that question.
Reprogram yourself:
How to break the cycle of unconscious learning?
I always like to imagine we all have an inner garden.
A garden that won't stop learning and growing after childhood.
A garden that needs nourishment, love, and care.
Your inner garden needs a holistic approach in order to thrive.
Immerse yourself in uncomfortable situations that will reprogram your mindset.
Don't be afraid to fail over and over again.
See them as obstacles to overcome on your journey.
